The Apartment

The apartment has been tastefully decorated and is well equipped and designed throughout. Most rooms have Air-Conditioning units, windows fitted with curtains and comfortable furnishings for your convenience and relaxation. The apartment is on the second floor (top), and is accessed by elevator from ground level.

On entering, there is a well appointed and modern fitted kitchen with all major appliances and accessories (includes coffee maker, 4 slice toaster, microwave and kettle). A dining table with 6 chairs adjoins to the lounge area which hosts a 3 seater sofa bed and single armchair. A smart TV with Satellite and DVD player (DVD’s supplied) have been included for entertainment. From here, you can amble out through the patio doors, on to the 3.5m x 3m balcony which overlooks the pool area and beyond to the Mediterranean Sea. A table and 4 chairs have been provided as well as 2 sun loungers.

The bedroom is bright and fresh with 2 x single sized beds, fitted wardrobes, bedside unit, dressing table, stool and mirror. The bathroom is fully tiled and has shower over a ¾ sized bath with WC and W/H basin in white sanitary ware.

Leaving the apartment and heading upstairs, there is a roof terrace (5m x 3m) which has been divided between several apartments, with this one enjoying the gable end position. Sun loungers, table and parasol as well as en electric BBQ have been provided for your comfort and to assist in enjoying the sunshine. If you get a little hot, there is a beautifully tropical pool area on the ground floor with large kidney shaped pool, kids pool, WC’s and Showers.

A supply of fresh drinking water is supplied to the apartment. The water is heated by a solar power system which means it is usually very hot. A back up immersion is there if required as back up. Electric Central Heating is installed for slightly cooler winter evenings.

The Location

The development is set in a quiet location in central Kato Paphos though just minutes walk to all the activities you could wish for in this great holiday location. The world renowned Paphos harbour, the mosaic museum, Bar Street, restaurants offering all types of cuisine, water sports and the beach can all be walked to within 5-10 minutes from Sunisland.

Paphos itself consists of two towns, each with its very own character. Ktima on the cliff (Upper Paphos) and Kato Paphos by the sea (Lower Paphos). One is virtually unchanged over the centuries and thoroughly Cypriot, while the other has expanded over the last decade from a sleepy fishing village and harbour, into a vibrant cosmopolitan resort which is expanding and improving each year.

In Kato Paphos, (in the archaeological park), you will find many fine mosaics and buildings from Greek and Roman periods, plus the Harbour Castle. Close by, is the church of St Pauls Pillar, where the pillar St Paul was tied to can be found. Further down this road are the Tombs of the Kings and Christian Catacombs.

If you decide to hire a car, you are only ten minutes drive from Coral Bay resort with all its cafes, bars, restaurants and other entertainment as well as one of the best beaches in Cyprus. You are also only 20 minutes from Paphos airport.

Going towards the unspoilt Akamas Peninsula (12km) there is Lara Bay, (famous for turtles) and Latchi, famous for its seafront and harbour restaurants as well as the clean sandy beach and crystal clear waters.

Heading North, you can find the route to Cedar Valley and the Troodos Mountains. The route is peppered with many other small but charming villages along the way.

An excellent highway runs to all corners of Cyprus but the old coast road is the most scenic route. A drive along here past various ancient sites such as Aphrodites Birthplace and Temple, towards Limassol, taking in Curium, is delightful and is littered with the most beautiful views.

There are 4 beautiful golf courses in the area, all with an individual style. All are within a 15 minute drive. Due to 340 sunshine days per year, Cyprus does offer many other activities but they are of course, too numerous to mention here.

**Please note that this property can be accessed at any time from 3pm on the day of arrival. There is a keysafe which we will provide a code for prior to arrival. We can arrange taxi transfer by our own driver who knows where the property is and assist with car hire from the airport if desired. The property is professionally managed (you will always have a contact). Air-Conditioning is included in the rental price as is a small welcome pack of basic essentials. **

A good sized apartment situated in a quiet location but only a short, pleasant walk from the bars, restaurants and harbour. The balcony looks directly over the swimming pool which was never crowded. The property was clean and well furnished and provided everything you could possibly need on holiday.

A superb apartment , only 10-15 minutes stroll from the harhour. Beautifully furnished and everything of a good quality. Had a minor problem that was sorted out quickly. Good to have a telephone number to ring and such a professional service available if needed.

Fantastic apartment. Loads of little extras to make home from home. Great location, just a short walk from all the bars and restaurants yet not in middle of it where it could be noisy. Everyone was so helpful. Thanks so much.

Property great with everything you need but did not agree with the charges for what they regarded as damage when we left, tea towels losing their colour for instance, we were there for two months what the hell did they expect with heavy use.someone should have been there to do an inventory when we moved in and when we left, would not recommend Cyprus to anyone it is one big building site, not beautiful anymore.

Thank you very much for your review. The apartment does in fact have a full inventory taken before and after each booking. This is how we knew what items were damaged and missing.The items were damaged through negligence so we had no option but to retain the £19 damage waiver paid. Thanks again.

This was the best self catering apartment we have ever stayed at. The apartment itself was superb, good quality furnishing and equipment but it was also the unexpected extras that were there right down to a sewing kit. The owner of this apartment has catered for everything you could possibly need on your holiday,and has gone the extra mile to make sure his guests are well looked after.

The pool area was well kept. we have no complaints at all. the driver you supplied was very helpful and helped us in. he also arranged transport back to airport. The location of the flat was ideal. We were in a nice quiet location with two supermarkets very close by. It was a pleasant stroll to the tourist areas. We hired a car for three days to explore the lovely island. mosaics were fabulous . Tombs of the kings interesting .troodos mountain worth exploring . Local restaurants were very welcoming. Coral bay beach was nice. Your company as agents were great. Very helpful. Nikki was wonderful, allowing us to keep the apartment until 7pm as we had an evening flight home. It really made a great difference and was very much appreciated. We would return to cyprus and would Definitely rent from your company again. Many thanks for a great holiday.

The location was decent, 10-15 min walk into the harbour but with basic shops within a stones throw. We ate down by the harbour most nights and would recommend any of the bars/cafe/restaurants down there. The food was great. Yes very pleased with your service, it was very easy and everything went smooth. We only had to contact the owner once, asking if we could stay in our apartment beyond the 11am checkout time and he was prompt and very kindly let us do so without any cost to us.
Apartment exceeded all our expectations. Kitchen well equipped with many extras. Living area comfortable and spacious. Bedroom with plenty storage. Air con throughout with additional ceiling fans. Plenty of books,DVDs,CDs,Games etc to keep you amused. Large balcony with furniture and BBQ. Roof terrace well equipped but too hot when we were there to use !!!. Pool fantastic and had it to ourselves for the two weeks. 10-15min walk to centre and harbour. Great holiday - will certainly be back.
Excellent property,clean, quiet, good location. Within walking distance of bars, restaurants & harbour.Would definately make a return visit to this property.
The appartment was fully equiped and the pool was very nice. The only thing I will say is there was building work going on next door so was very noisey in the morning. This wasnt mentioned when we booked
The apartment was in very good condition, the pool area would have benefited from some facilities to sit in the shade. The welcome pack was much appreciated after the journey and the assistance from the letting agents with regard to arranging transfer from the airport was excellant.
a lovely new appartment, very well equipped and furnished. Located in a quiet residential area within 15 mins walk of the harbour and shops. Lovely pool area. A lot of building work going on around the property but we heard no noise and seldom saw any workmen. Nice sized balcony with glimpse of the sea in the distance - very pleasant to sit out in the day and the evenings with sun from mid morning to evening.
