Steeped in history, Paphos has beautiful historical sites to uncover, a charming old town to wander around and a fishing harbour with plenty of places to shop and eat. Paphos is also home to some excellent restaurants, tavernas, nightlife, with upmarket bars, lively night clubs and a cosmopolitan spirit, so you can experience a bit of everything on your holiday.
About the West Coast of Cyprus
Said to be the birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, she’s certainly left her mark on Cyprus’s west coast. If you want a romantic getaway and a touch of history, this side of the island is ideal, with its quieter beaches and the rich ancient sites, traditional markets and upmarket flavour of Paphos.
