Apartment overview - owner's description

This top floor luxury 82 metre appartment benefits from a 25 metre balcony with unobstructed seaviews.It is only 10 minutes walk to beach and the Kapparis tourist strip.

This topfloor luxury 82 square meter penthouse also benefits from a large 25 square meter veranda,from which you can enjoy unobstructed views of the sea and the ghost town of Famagusta.,and of course the sun and dining al fresco.The veranda has2 remote controlled electric sunshades a patio table and four chairs.Each room is fully equiped with shutters,airconditioning and ceiling fans.The beautifully tiled bathroom has bath/shower with glass shower screen plus electic pump operated pressurised water system for a powerfull shower..The 10 meter length lounge/dining room has 3 seater settee, coffee table,2 armchairs,glass dining table and four chairs.

WELL EQUIPPED
Entertainment comprises of 26 inch TV DVD VCR satellite system..The fully equiped 6 meter length kitchen/sitting room includes oven,extractor,hob,washing machine,iron and ironing board,fridge/freezer,microwave,toaster,kettle,food processor andportable/radio/tape/cd/player.The sitting room has a table,armchair and sofabed.
The English owners of property live only 5 minutes away so are onhand to help with any problems explain appliances and give helpfull unformation.
All is provided except beach towels. For stays of more than one week a towel and linen change can be made on request.

IDEAL LOCATION KAPPARIS
Appartment is located in quiet cul de sac yet is only 10 mins walk from local nightlife strip where several excellent restaurants and bars stay open all year long as well as a large supermarket.Nearest sandy beach is 15 mins walk away.The larger beach resort of Protaras with many extra attractions ie crazy golf ,bowling is a 10 minute drive or bus ride away.The nightlife,waterpark and famous Nissi beach area of Ayia Napa is about 15 mins by car or bus.Picturesque village of Paralimni with its squares,churches and all year round shops and tavernas is only 10 mins drive away.Nearly all the local beaches have strictly controlled water sports facilities,all have the blue flag EEC award.Ideally placed to explore local areas including north (Turkish occupied) part of Cyprus.
LOCALS.You will find the local population here particularly friendly and welcoming.The area benefits from a very low crime rate, locals still do not lock there cars! Hygiene and restaurant standards are very high,most food is grown locally and is very fresh.
FACILITIES.There is allocated underground car parking.Appartment is on 3rd (top) floor with no lift so unsuitable for disabled.There is no communial pool but most hotels will allow you to use theirs.Also there is a pool bar in Kapparis at Karas taverna only 10 mins walk away.

Fantastic! October 2011 We enjoyed our holiday in this penthouse very much! It is light, clean, big and complete. Thanks to Mo and Chris. They are friendly and helpful but not pushy. goodbye package holidays August 2009 We were slightly nervous as it was our first private rental holiday. We had no need to be ! The apartement was exactly as described in the advert.The views were stunning, the facilities were all new or clean, the extras we found were a bonus.For us the location was perfect, nice and quite and very relaxing,chris came twice at the begining and the end of our holiday but was only a call away if needed. Thanks alot we will return

Our expectations were exceeded as the apartment is extremely spacious and is equipped to a very high level. The awnings provided plenty of shade (which was needed in the 35 degrees plus) which made sitting out a pleasurable experience. The UPVC shutters and windows also stopped the interior becoming too hot to the extent the air con is only needed for a couple of hours when the heat becomes "heavier" at night. The view is exactly as shown in the advertisement from any part of the balcony and not some obscure angle. All appliances worked perfectly and the owner Chris made himself available without being intrusive to provide information and ensure all in the property was working fine. There is little else I can say about the apartment except that all around was very quiet due I suspect to many similar properties being second homes. The apartment is only 10 minutes walk to the tourist strip where there are few bars and restaurants if you want to have a drink without taking a car. There is an Indian and Chinses restaurant plus the normal tavernas through to the one "higher" grade restaurant called Faliros. The nearest beach is just about walkable for adults but not for quite young children. There are many nice sandy beaches (some with watersports) in short driving distances all run by the local Council which provide sunbeds and parasols to a very a high standard. There are also easily reached flat rock coves and headlands if you want to avoid the busier beaches. Protaras and Agia Napa are 10/15 minutes drive away respectively if you want to experience livelier resorts with Protaras being more family orientated. Its also worth driving longer distances circa 1 hour to see Nicosia and Larnaka and there are also many other attractions which you will find in guidebooks according to tastes. A car is essential if staying for over a week to allow you to get around as the bus service is almost non-existent and Taxis are very expensive. Using an online an agent the cost of hiring a medium size car with Air Con provided by a major rental company for 3 weeks was very cheap (much cheaper than the UK) which included all insurances(pick-up and dro p-off Larnaca Airport). I would recommend this apartment and area to friends for any type of holida - beach, sight seeing, relaxing or a mixture of all three. We found a well presented, spacious property. The neighbours were friendly and the sunny veranda had seaviews and views looking towards Northern Cyprus. The apartment was very clean and extremely comfortable, a true home from home. Local shops were just a 5 minute walk, as well as the local beach. The resort of Protaras and Fig Tree Bay are only 5 minutes by car.
