The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus primarily suits those seeking a relaxing un-commercialised style holiday, so if you are looking to escape from the noise, hustle, bustle and crowds of the large package deal hotel holidays, then look no further than our luxury apartment in sunny North Cyprus. Once you experience the comfort and convenience of your own private surroundings in an area of outstanding beauty you will never want to return to a Hotel again. As the saying goes, once bitten, forever smitten.

Whether its soaking up the Sun on the beach, swimming in the safe warm Mediterranean, dining in picturesque Girne (kyrenia) harbour, or up in the Besparmak mountains exploring old Crusader castles, you will sense the unspoilt beauty of the place. Most sporting and beach activities are well catered for, and unlike some Mediterranean resorts, most shops, restaurants and activities remain open throughout the year. Generally speaking Cyprus is classed as a year round destination.

This lovely 3 bedroom 2 bathroom property is situated on the outskirts of Esentepe village in a very peaceful location between two natural ravines overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

Esentepe is approximately 20 minutes drive eastwards along the coast road from Girne (kyrenia) and is a traditional cypriot village a couple of small supermarkets, some local restaurants and a branch of Limassol bank with an ATM machine.

The seafront and coast road is a couple of minutes drive away at the bottom of the hill, and nearby, along the coast road is a petrol station as well as some larger supermarkets and restaurants in either direction. The nearest large sandy beach is approx 8 minutes away at alagadi (Turtle Beach).

For golfers, the exclusive Korineum Golf & Country Club is just under 5 minutes away by car. The course facilities, bars & restaurants are open to all, and are the ultimate in luxury.

The capital Lefkosa (nicosia) is about 35-40 minutes drive.

Esentepe is also conveniently located for access to the unspoilt beauty of the Karpas Peninsula.

Sitting in an elevated position on a small exclusive gated complex, the property offers absolutely stunning sea, forest & mountain views. Suitable for families, couples and golfers, this really is the place to get away from it all and completely unwind from the stresses and strains of modern day life.

The property is furnished to a very high standard, with modern decor and lighting. To ensure you remain cool in the summer, and warm in the winter, all rooms have full remote control dual air-conditioning & heating units, as well as free standing fans if you prefer this to air-conditioning. All bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes. Accommodation comprises more fully as follows........

Entrance hallway leading to fully fitted and equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, including fan oven, hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer with ice maker. All usual kitchen equipment is provided such as kettle and toaster, cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery as well as a separate refrigerated water cooler.

A spacious lounge-dining room with huge sliding patio doors offers wonderful sea views. There are high quality furnishings including a luxury sofa-suite and dining suite with seating for six. For entertainment there is a Samsung 42 inch flat screen TV, DVD player & Satellite TV, as well as a Sony mini Hi-Fi and an ipod docking station, There is also a selection of DVDs, CDs, books and games available for your use.

The lounge/dining area leads to three bedrooms & two bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, patio doors & sea views. Adjoining bedroom 1 is a fully tiled en-suite, with power shower, WC, wash basin and washing machine. Bedroom 2 also has a king size bed, patio doors & sea views. In addition, there is a digital safe to store your valuables. Bedroom 3 is a twin room with mountain views, a single bed with full size pull out bed below. The single beds can be pushed together to make a super king size bed, or used separately as two singles. There is also a travel cot for infants. Voile curtains in all bedrooms have extra thick lining curtains behind. Duvets and bed linen are provided.

There is a large fully tiled family bathroom with WC & wash basin, full size bath, shower screen & power shower over. All towels are provided.

Outside: To the front is a large garden area, ample car parking space with mountain views, whilst to the rear there is a tiled terrace/garden area with panoramic sea & forest views. Sun loungers with cushions are provided. The terrace has a wooden pergola above complete with fabric pergola weave for added privacy as well as another dining suite for eating alfresco. There is also an outside gas BBQ. The evening sunsets to be seen from here are a sheer delight, with the twinkling lights of kyrenia in the distance making a wonderful backdrop.

In the apartment are guide books and maps, as well as a guest information book that we have produced to give you more detailed information about the apartment, complex, local area, and Northern Cyprus in general.

To add to your comfort the apartment also has fully fitted fly screens to all doors and windows. This is particularly useful, especially at night when its hot, as you can leave doors and windows open if you wish to help you stay cool whilst keeping out any little flies, mosquitoes or beasties that may want to munch on you!!!

The spacious grounds & gardens are comprehensively landscaped and at varying times of the year display a profusion of flowers and colour.

There is an enormous 30 metre swimming pool complimented by Olive Trees and very spacious sun terraces with sunloungers/cushions provided. A separate childrens pool is adjacent to the main pool. For those that prefer shade there is a large covered Pergola area. For the kids, there is a small childrens play area too.

A superb private fully fitted air-conditioned gymnasium complex is also on site and FREE for your use, complete with two large screen LCD TVs with Satellite channels to keep you entertained & motivated whilst you work out. When you have built up a sweat, there are full shower & toilet facilities located within the building. Also in the Gym is a full size Table Tennis table, a large DVD/Book library, as well as a set of golf clubs (subject to availability) free for your use.

From the uk there are two routes into North Cyprus. The first is by flying into ‘Ercan’ (the North’s only airport) via Turkey. Our preferred operator on this route is Pegasus airlines. Flights by this route take a little longer as they make a scheduled stop in Turkey, but Pegasus passengers for North Cyprus remain seated on the aircraft. Turkish airlines also operate this route from the UK, but at the time of writing you do have to get off the plane and change at Istanbul with them. Transfer time to the apartment from Ercan airport is approximately 40 minutes.

The second route is by flying into ‘larnaca’ in southern Cyprus. The flight times are shorter due to flying direct, but the transfer time is longer at approx 70+ minutes. From the UK there are a number of operators on this route. Cyprus Airways & British Airways both operate scheduled daily flights all year round. There are also seasonal services from Easyjet, Monarch, Thomas Cook, ThomsonFly, First Choice, and a number of other operators.

We always advise new guests to take a taxi transfer to the property unless you are familiar with the area. As already mentioned, transfer time from North Cyprus Ercan Airport is approx 40 minutes, whilst from Larnaca its approx 70+ minutes.

The companies we use are very reliable and highly recommended. If arriving at Ercan airport in North Cyprus they can arrange taxi transfers to and from the airport, or can arrange for you to pick up your car at the airport.

If flying into Larnaca they can collect you from there too. Current cost is approx £50.00 each way, but this is the TOTAL cost for the Taxi and up to seven people, so is very good value. We do advise you to check Taxi transfer costs as prices can change.

A driver from one of our recommended companies will be waiting outside airport arrivals holding up a card with your surname on. They should also have the telephone access code to the complex for when you arrive at the accomodation and can take you through the security gate right to your front door. You do not have to pay anything in advance for your car hire (not even a deposit) until they deliver your hire car to your accommodation. The taxi fare is also not usually payable until delivery of the car hire.

We DON'T recommend hiring a car at Larnaca and driving from south to north due to complications with Insurance.

If you wish, we can arrange your car hire and airport transfers for you. Simply e-mail us all your travel details and we can arrange it on your behalf.


BOOKING DATES: Please be aware that if you are due to arrive in the early hours of the morning, this is the FIRST NIGHT of your stay. Therefore, when placing a booking you MUST ensure that you select the DAY BEFORE as your booking start date in order to allow you access to the property on arrival. Failure to do this could entail someone else booking that date, which would mean the property is still occupied by other guests when you arrive. You will then have to wait until up to 3pm to gain access.

ENTRY & EXIT TIMES: Standard entry time into the apartment is 3pm on the day of arrival and exit time is 10am on the day of departure. Under certain circumstances these times can be flexible for no additional cost by prior arrangement with the owner.

OCCUPANCY: Maximum occupancy is 6 persons although there is also a travel cot to accomodate an additional infant. Please ensure names of ALL people in your party are entered when you book. Our management company do check that numbers in the party occupying the property coincide with those on the booking. If after booking you wish to add further people to your party you MUST confirm this with us first before the start of your holiday. Failure to do so will render you in breach of the terms & conditions of the rental agreement and may lead to you being asked to vacate the property with forfeiture of all monies paid.


1) Either pay a refundable £200.00 breakage deposit which is returned to you 14 days after satisfactory inspection of the property following the end of your stay, OR

2) Alternatively, you can pay a £30.00 non-refundable damage waiver insurance policy offered by Villarenters.
The damage waiver covers you against accidental damage to a value of £200.00 and we therefore recommend this as the most suitable option, although the choice is entirely yours.

A beautifully appointed apartment with everything you could wish for to make your holiday relaxing. The complex was very quiet and most of the very friendly people we met were either owners or friends of owners. The colours of the flowers adorning the balconies were a beautiful sight against the blue mediterranean sun and the grounds were well maintained. We stayed in August and the area was very quiet and the weather was fantastic if you enjoy "hot!". You definitely need to hire a car as the local village would be a long hilly walk. A BBQ is provided but we never used it as there are plenty of good local restaurants (including Jashans Indian restaurant) within a short drive but if you wanted a larger town for supermarkets etc, Kyrenia was a good 25 minute drive away. There we found ManiPeni an American/Italian style restaurant with the hugest family pizzas you have ever seen. We were lucky to see turtles hatching at the local beach (8 minute drive away) which was quite a highlight. The apartment owners made all the transfer and car hire arrangements which was ideal as we flew to Larnaca and arrived in the middle of the night. The only bad thing was that we had to come home!!!

We had an excellent time during our stay in the apartment. It was spotlessly clean and just as it looks in the photographs. The owners have thought of everything and we found the guide of where to eat and what to look for, particularly helpful. We found Stevies bar to be the most friendly. We used Bellapais taxi and car rental as advised and they were waiting for us at the airport, the hire car was parked at the apartment ready for us and they were very helpful. The accommodation was very spacious and views were spectacular. The air con was a godsend as temperatures were between 38 and 41 degrees when we were there. The pool was fantastic and was particularly good at the end of the day as it was so warm and looked great when lit up. There are some lovely beaches around and some great mountainous drives if you fancy getting some great photo opportunities. We went into Kyrenia one evening and the place was buzzing with night life and entertainment. Whilst we were there the country received a visit from the Turkish president and the crowds were out with their flags to welcome him. All in all I would recommend this apartment to anyone. You must hire a car to get the best out of your holiday. Would go again.

The apartment was wonderful the owners were very accommodating. My family thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. We arrived right before high season so all was quiet and very enjoyable. The apartment was well stocked and there was a town 5k way to resupply as needed. We were very close to awesome beaches, and Kyrenia harbor and castle were close, by car as well. This apartment is ideal for family’s that have transportation and can drive freely to and from the sites. The drive up to Hilarions Castle was spectacular! It’s just a stones through away from the apartment. The apartment itself is very modern with all the comforts of home. The only complaint was from the apartment staff which was not there during the week. However it was the weekend. I defiantly recommend it if you have a small family and have a car to get around. Locals are very friendly and owners were very nice. Jaime S

Very nice property, tastefully furnished. Lovely uninterrupted views of sea from inside apartment, and sea and mountains along coastline towards Kyrenia from the terrace. The apartment really is in the same condition as in the owner photographs. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a vacation. Resort is nicely laid out with lots of space, gardens and a gigantic swimming pool - which in May we had all to ourselves. Very quiet & peaceful on site (just how we like it). Nearest main road is at the bottom of the hill in front of the resort, quite a long way away and out of sight, so no noise from that - not that there is much traffic on it anyway. Property management team on site very helpful. As owners have stated, a car really is needed to get anywhere including getting groceries from local shops - which are only a few minutes away. When in North Cyprus next will stay here again.

We recently returned home to the UK and the only bad thing we can say about our stay was that we had to come home. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this complex and in particular this apartment to anyone. We have often stayed in Villas in the past but this apartment has everything that a villa would have, plus the added bonus of a MASSIVE POOL, one that you can actually properly SWIM in, as opposed to plunge pools in some other places weve stayed at. OK its a communal pool as opposed to a private one, but the complex is so peaceful that at times we had the whole pool entirely to ourselves!!! The Gymnasium was also great too. We have to commend the owners for the information folder too, as this was comprehensive and gave us all the info we needed plus the switches and equipment was all labeled so we knew what everything was. They have clearly put a lot of thought and attention into what guests need. The apartment was really nicely furnished too and very comfortable and the sunsets from the terrace are just fabulous. You do need to hire a car to get around but hire cars were very cheaply priced compared to other places in Europe weve been to and as Cyprus drives on the same side as Britain it was really easy. This was our first visit to Northern Cyprus but will definitely not be our last. We hope to return to this apartment next year, only for longer next time. Thank you for a wonderful time.

This is probably one of the best appartments that we have ever rented. From the start the company recommended by the owner for car hire was excellent. They collected us from the airport at 11.30 at night and delivered the car the next day. The drive after a days travelling would not be welcome especially in the dark. Then they delivered us back to the airport. The delivery and collection service is free and the car rental as competative as the rest. The appartment was just perfect and was described to perfection and all the joining instructions were perfectly set out. Inside the appartment was an instruction manual that covered everything and was well received. The balcony, a sun trap, was great with views over the sea and land and the perfect place to sit out with the sun on the terrace all day. The fixtures and fitting within the appartment were of a very high standard and it felt comfrotable to stay. We only wished that we could have stayed another week. The pool was beautiful and we also used the well equiped gym. I would certainly go back to this appartment.

On arrival at Larnaca airport we were met promptly by bellapais car hire company and taken by minibus across the border to our apartment. I was a little apprehensive about the transfer prior to the holiday as we have two small children. However there were no problems at all crossing the border and the transfer time was a lot less than i expected. our car was waiting at the apartment for us which was great! The apartment itself was fantastic and really exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and tidy with lots of space and every home luxury you could want! The view from the terrace was amazing - we watched the sunset from here most evenings and it was such a beautiful sight. the complex facilities were also fabulous. The pool was always very clean and nice and warm. we used the gym a couple of times and found it very satisfactory. The kids loved the childrens pool and on-site play area. Both these facilities were in superb condition and very safe. Northern Cyprus itself is a great holiday location. The locals were very friendly and helpful and seemed to love the children!! We travled around most of northern Cyprus. The Karpas peninsula was definately well worth the drive. The scenery is wonderful and Nangomi (golden sands) is 7 km of brilliant sandy beach....... stunning! More locally to the apartment there were several little coves that were for the most part deserted. There are one or two beaches that charge a small fee- escape ( the other side of Kyrenia) and Acapulco being the best of these. Most of the restaurants that we visited served excellent local dishes at reasonable prices. Rosies, which is in Esentepe village was the best food we ate and the cheapest. It looks like a bit of a shack from the outside but don't let that put you off. It's a must!! Kyrenia harbour was also a lovely place to eat, if a bit more pricey. Make sure you barter for everything here as you will get it for less if you do. Over all I thought the holiday was one of the best I've had and I would definately recommend it to families and couples alike!! I can't wait to go back next year!!

We had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend this property & location. Everything we needed was provided and it was furnished to a very high standard. The information pack about the apartment & surrounding area was a big help too. The pool was enormous, and just like a warm bath when we were there. The views of the sea and mountains are fantastic, and we returned to the UK completely relaxed and chilled out. We will definately stay here again. Thank you very much for a lovely time.
This apartment is simply fantastic. Unlike other properties we have rented, this property had all the home comforts we could have wanted and is furnished to an excellent standard, so comfortable! The location is lovely and, despite visiting the area close to peak season, the pools at the complex were not at all crowded, usually only just a few people enjoying the gorgeous sunshine. We would definitely stay there again and have already recommended the apartment to friends and family. I really couldnt recommend the apartment or the area more highly. A BIG thank you to the owners of this apartment they are clearly very thoughtful and considerate and it is very apparent that they have spent a lot of time making their apartment lovely and homely, keeping their guests needs in mind.

This is a lovely appartment, on a beautiful development, with a huge pool, which was brilliant for my daughter learning to swim! Most of the time we had it to ourselves or sharing with only a couple of people. The appartment is spacious well thought out, and with everything we needed. The air conditioning was a godsend we would have been very uncomfortable without it. Bellapais rent a car were as recommended, punctual and helpful. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
Lovely spacious apartment, very well organised with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The sunset views from the balcony are breathtaking and I would certainly return for these alone!
The apartment was furnished to a very high standard with everything that we needed. There was food in the fridge, food in the cupboards, loo rolls in each of the bathrooms. The trust that this property and that of the complex was great. We replaced what we used and left everything for the next people, it felt like leaving the place for family. The apartment had air conditioning in all bedrooms and the sitting area and was very, very welcome I am sure that it would be quite uncomfortable at the height of summer if there were fewer units. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who liked a quality, quiet, roomy apartment with fantastic views. The pool was huge and well maintained, the sun beds always available and not a towel on an empty sunbed to be seen! The complex is a little isolated so a car is really essential. The village of Esentepe is within walking distance but the roads are winding and narrow and in late July the temperature during the day would make walking uncomfortable. Car hire was relatively cheap and the car of good quality with air con. The cost of the apartment was equal to the fact that there are three good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and plenty of sitting space both inside and outside. We were very pleased with our stay - even with two teenagers . Any problems were taken care of immediately but the site manager who made it clear that nothing was too much trouble, they were there to help and help they did.
I found the property to be very well laid out,they appeared to have planned the space both inside and out very well indeed. Great views of the sea and easy access to the facilities such as pool and gym. I should also note that the people we met on the site were very friendly which enhances any holiday.
Just spent a very relaxing two weeks at this beautiful apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and extremely well equipped, every little detail has been taken care of even down to the First Aid Kit! The pool area is excellent and the complex well cared for. The terrace is very spacious, there were five adults at one point during our stay and there was plenty of room for all of us. The views and sunsets were delightful. Dont miss Bellapais - we had a meal one evening in the restaurant next to the abbey and it was excellent. Local restaurants in Esenteppe whilst basic were extremely good value for money and very welcoming. Lastly, we managed to see the turtles hatching at Alagadi Beach it was wonderful. A great holiday!!
The apartment had everything we needed and more, which was no surprise as the detailed description regarding the apartment on the website was very accurate. I would imagine that in the summer it would be a fabulous place to stay, but as we visited in the winter it was too cold to enjoy all the facilities that the complex has to offer. The pool area looked very inviting, and the apartment verandah would be a great place to enjoy a barbecue on warmer days. All in all the owners of the apartment have done their best to ensure that everything a holidaymaker could wish for was provided, and it certainly felt like home from home. I can't imagine anyone not wanting to return to the apartment if they ever re-visited North Cyprus.
The location is stunning with an outlook of the sea and mountains. The apartment is very well appointed with a well-equipped kitchen, large lounge, three good-sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. The lounge and bedrooms all have air conditioning units. On the good-sized terrace is a barbecue and sun loungers. The apartment is on a hillside development set high above the main Girne road, close to Esentepe village. On the development is a large swimming pool, a children's pool, and fitness centre. There can't be a better place to relax on the terrace and watch fabulous sunsets.
