Villa Casiobury is a beautiful 4 bedroom villa offering everything a holidaymaker desires...seclusion & luxury and yet just a few minutes walking distance from the traditional bars and restaurants of the picturesque Turkish Cypriot village of Esentepe. Set in mature gardens, Villa Casiobury is blessed with stunning, uninterrupted panoramic views of the blue Mediterranenean Sea.

There are a number of secluded beaches in the area & traditional restaurants located in the village or just a short drive away. Famous for its turtles, Alagadi beach is within a 10 minute drive where visitors can participate in the release of the baby turtles during the summer months. In addition we have the Korineum Golf Resort, a luxury championship-quality golfing complex, with spa & restaurants & now a newly opened beach club & tennis academy, all just 5 minutes away.
Blessed with stunning secluded beaches and medieval castles, all waiting to be explored, North Cyprus is a paradise for sun-worshippers, hikers and cyclists.

NEW IN 2016: 2016 sees the opening of the new Esentepe beach club with all the associated amenities you could expect ie restaurant and bar, sunbeds and brollies, changing facilities and showers etc...even a beach volleyball court. The beach club is just a 2-minute drive from the villa, or alternatively, for those feeling more energetic, a appx 25-minute stroll down the hill through the pine forest. A wonderful new facility in the area.

Casiobury - accomodation and facilities
The accommodation comprises a spacious hallway, leading through to a sunken lounge area. The lounge has a cast iron log-burner and is comfortably furnished with a sofa bed, easy-chairs & coffee table. A flat-screen TV & DVD player is provided, along with a large selection of DVDs. Large double-glazed patio doors afford direct unimpeded views of the Mediterranean from the comfort of your armchair. Off the lounge, through an archway, is the semi-circular dining room. With a large dining table and chairs, this room has two further sets of patio doors leading out onto the garden terrace with truly stunning sea views. Beyond the dining room there is a fully-equipped modern kitchen with island.

On the ground floor, on the east-side of the house, are two double bedrooms, each with air-conditioning and built-in wardrobes. One is furnished with a double-bed and the second has twin beds. Both bedrooms have double-glazed patio doors, leading directly to the private pool. Between these two bedrooms is the family bathroom, equipped with shower, WC and hand basin.
A cot and high-chair is available for guests with babies.

Climb the stairs and you will find a third double bedroom. Comfortably furnished and air-conditioned, it has two large picture-windows affording amazing views all the way up the coastline, westwards towards Kyrenia. Guests also enjoy access to their own private terrace.

The master bedroom is situated at the top of the stairs. Air-conditioned for your comfort, it is furnished with a king-size bed, dressing table and built-in wardrobes. Across the landing is a large shower room/wet room with WC, hand basin etc. A second external terrace can be accessed from this floor, overlooking the pool area, facing eastwards with views right up to the Karpaz Peninsula… perfect for catching the early morning & afternoon sun.

To the east-side of the house is the 8m x 4m private pool & barbecue area. Sun-loungers & parasols are provided for our guests' comfort. With the further provision of a large table & chairs, family-dining al fresco for up to 8 persons is a pleasure not to be missed.

We stayed at Villa Casiobury for two weeks and all five of us in the group agreed that our holiday was absolutely brilliant . Mike and Lynn were excellent hosts and dealt with any queries, whether transfers from the airport, places to eat or sights to see in the most prompt and informative manner. The villa is in a superb location with views over a deep blue sea or of marvellous sunsets. Those on the ground floor can emerge from their room to find the pool three or four paces away across the terrace. The villa has all the facilities any size of group up to 8 people could wish for-there were five of us- and there is ample room for people to spend time quietly/ alone so that you are not on top of each other all the time.
Esentepe is a small village but a great base to discover Northern Cyprus, which is less commercialised than the Greek part. There are bars and restaurants, most of which we visited at some stage- sunset at Windy Hill a must, as is a trip to the north eastern tip of the island-about one and a half hours- to see the sanctuary for wild donkeys and a beach which is the equivalent of any in New Zealand. The drive back along the coast with the sun setting was every bit as good as Big Sur. Kyrenia, Salamis, I could go on. Dont delay, book today!
A brilliant base for a brilliant holiday. Thanks once more to Mike and Lynn

What words could you describe this amazing property breathtaking, stunning, beautiful, perfect, we could go on! We spent most of our time relaxing at the villa enjoying the facilities that included the pool, BBQ, terraces, stunning views and the gorgeous weather. However, we can highly recommend taking a walk into the village and eating at Remzis and having a few drinks in the sunshine in Tumba. We took a trip to Kantara castle where the kids enjoyed pretending to be knights and princesses in there own castle. Ours was only a short break but we will be coming back to visit, Kyrenia, Alagadi beach, Morphou bay and to reach the tip of the pan handle.
Mike and Lyn, we can only thank you enough for allowing us to experience your beautiful villa and the setting in which it is in.
See you very soon :)

14th to 21st August
Mike and Lyn were so welcoming and helpful organizing the transfer from the airport to the villa and hiring a car for us, which I would recommend as it makes the transfer stress free.
We have been to several villas through villarenters over the years, Casiobury Villa is by far the best we have been to. The pictures on the site do not do justice to how beautiful the villa is and it wonderful views over the Med, our son proposed to his partner by the pool with the sun setting over the Med and she said yes. It is a very romantic setting. It is hard to add to the previous review we agree with everything that was said but if you look at all of the reviews we are all saying the same, so why not book two weeks here to experience the joys we have all had!
Eating out is so cheap, how holidays abroad used to be before the Euro-zone. The information about the surrounding area was very helpful.

Have just returned from a superb 2 weeks at Villa Casiobury and I highly recommend it.

The pool terrace is lovely, superb ocean views and lots of lovely shady places to sit especially the beautiful Bougainvillea covered terrace at the back of the house. There is a lovely feeling of tranquillity there which allowed us all to completely switch off and become far too lazy and relaxed. We spent most of the time just hanging around the villa, winding down.

The pool is a good size and well looked after. Mike and Lyn were superb hosts - always on hand and happy to help when needed but equally not in your face.

The house itself is comfortable and very well equipped
Northern Cyprus is very beautiful and, for now at least, not over developed. The locals are very friendly, lots of lovely mountain and coastal scenery as well as a fair smattering of historic buildings

From London, United Kingdom Oct 2012

We have just returned from Villa Casiobury after a weeks stay ending sadly yesterday the 15th October.
It was such a beautiful villa and was accurately described in every way. I unfortunately had a back problem that escalated literally the day before we flew out, after visiting our local hospital A and E department and being prescribed some excellent pain killers we made the decision to continue with are holiday .It was a risk as i could barely stand up !
It was the best decision i could have made as the villa was so perfect for relaxing in , everything was catered for , beautifully maintained , extremely comfortable, clean and i felt so much better in such a short space of time, `
The owners were such lovely warm people, they really seemed to care and we were made to feel like nothing was a problem.
The beds are comfortable the rooms all had lovely views and we both felt we were in heaven for a week. Completely spoilt for choice as to where to sit and relax it was hard to leave the property to venture out because it was so lovely.
Great for families , couples or groups of friends as there was so much space.
We did however go out and met lots of friendly people in the local area and beyond.Meals were delicious and generous and reasonably priced. The pool was very clean and so relaxing so too were the many loungers .Although there are villas near by we felt we had seclusion and privacy, very quiet and such a romantic setting.
We ate our breakfast outside and thoroughly enjoyed admiring the views from all angles of the stunning outside areas.
The villa is very well equipped the showers were great , air conditioning kept us very comfortable. The furniture tasteful and comfortable.
We met up with the owners on one of our outings and they were so very warm and friendly.
We highly recommend this villa to anyone we felt completely relaxed and refreshed after our stay and we very much hope to return another time.
Once again we felt the owners had truly thought of everything and we had a fabulous week, we cannot emphasise this enough.
Could say more but suffice to say you will not be disappointed should you choose to stay at this wonderful villa.
A huge thank you to Mike and Lyn for letting us chill out in your gorgeous home!

Family from Portsmouth, United Kingdom Sep 2012

This was our second stay in the villa (Sept 13) and was every bit as good as our first visit. Mike and Lyn proved once again to be fantastic hosts with nothing being too much trouble for them. We are getting married in Cyprus in a couple of years and they even put us in touch with people who gave us some great information and advice.
Northern Cyprus remains excellent value for money, check out exchange rates in Kyrenia before you come out as they were brilliant and much better than if wed changed sterling in the UK before going on holiday. A very relaxing time was had by all and we didnt want to leave. Theres always loads to do if you choose to get out and about, visit the Karpaz beach if you can as its paradise! In summary - a brilliant villa with wonderful hosts dont shop around for other villas just choose this one and you wont be disappointed! Andy, Sara, Jenny and Dave, UK

July/Aug 2013 5* ~ Everything was just perfect. I dont even know where to start.... Mike and Lyn were a big help in the beginning with organizing the transfer from the airport to the villa and hiring a car for us. When we arrived, we were just so overwhelmed with the surroundings and the villa. It was so much nicer than we were expecting it to be! Everything in the house was very clean, nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We just loved the different seating areas around the house with stunning views. Even with 7 people in the house you could always find a place somewhere to have some quiet time. The pool was very clean and with a great view to the ocean side. There were enough sun loungers for all of us (which we werent expecting). We also loved the village and the people there. Everybody is just so friendly and we felt really safe there. Mike told us about a nice beach which is 1.5 hours away from the villa. We went there and have to say that it was really worth it. It was beautiful, very quiet, very clean water and almost no tourists. After the two weeks it was really hard to leave the villa because it felt like home for us. We can definitely recommend this place! Thanks Mike and Lyn for everything! Manuela & friends, Germany

Villa Casiobury - fabulous villa We’ve just returned from a wonderful week’s holiday at Villa Casiobury (July 2012). Having stayed in many privately owned villas over the years, Villa Casiobury is as good - if not better - than any we have tried and is exceptionally reasonably priced considering it can easily accommodate 2 families. The villa is spacious, airy and light with qualityfurnishings and tasteful décor and both the interior and outdoor space wereimmaculate. The fabulous pool overlooked the stunning view and was surroundedby comfortable loungers and a number of patios offering both shade and sun. The location was perfect for us. Very quiet and quiteprivate but within strolling distance of the traditional village of Esentepewhere there was a choice of restaurants (which were unbelievably good value) and a selec tion of small shops. If you can drag yourselves away from the villa there is much to see and do in the area, which is still undeveloped and much lesscommercialised than the south. There are a couple of nice beaches within a 10minute drive, including the famous turtle beach, a great golf complex, historic sites to explore and lots more restaurants within a short drive. Mike and Lyn live nearby and were on hand to offer adviceand help if we needed it. Nothing was too much trouble for them – it was clear that their primary objective was making sure that we enjoyed our holiday. Theysucceeded as we loved our time there. Kay - Rugby, UK

The location is superb. It is the final villa of a small group perched on the hillside with the most wonderful uninterupted views of the Mediterranean. The sunsets are divine. The pool area is perfect, the villa is cool and comfortable with tons of space. If you are looking for peace and tranquility in a beautiful location - look no further. It is always hard to leave.
