11 kilometres (15 minutes drive) to the West of Paphos and 3 kilometres below the friendly and picturesque, hillside village of Peyia is Coral Bay, the best natural (European Blue Flag) beach in the area. This is an established resort with many villas set apart from one another above a wide curve of dark golden sand. The summer heat is often tempered by a gentle breeze and the sea has a shallow margin where children may play safely. In the busier months, water sports on offer include pedaloes, water skiing, banana boats, jet skis and windsurfing.
Close by the Bay you will find large hotels, banks, shops, mini-markets (for provisions and souvenirs), bars, restaurants and street cafes for casual alfresco meals. There are tavernas and snack bars overlooking the sea and a large restaurant in the next bay which is open during the day.
More tavernas and local shops are just a short drive away. Coral bay beach is a 10-15 minute stroll with the local (pebbled) beach (also offering watersports) just 100m away.
This really is a perfect location for a casual seaside holiday, and an excellent base for touring the Paphos area, with all it has to offer.
An excellent bus service takes you into the town of Paphos with its historical harbour, gift shops and restaurants. Also the ‘Old Town’ of Paphos with its blend of high quality shops and traditional markets.
Within a short driving distance are the Troodos Mountains, Latchi Beach, Akamas Forrest, Lara Beach, Aphrodite’s Rock, Baths of Aphrodite and three championship golf courses to name but a few. Paphos also boasts one of the best water parks in Cyprus.
Things to do in the area include Paphos Bird Park, reptile park, horse riding, Akamas Peninsular & Lara Nature Reserve, hiking/walking, buggy safaris, 4 x 4 safaris, sea caves area, sailing and many more. Amusement and water parks in Paphos are also easily accessible from Coral Bay as are numerous archaeological ruins such as the Tombs of the Kings.
If you want to get out and explore some fantastic scenery, take a trip to the Akamas, Polis, Latchi or even Troodos mountains. The Akamas is an untouched part of Cyprus with unspoilt coastline and traditional fish taverns in stunning seaside locations. Troodos is of course the main mountain range in Cyprus, not many people know that in the winter....you can ski!

Returned from Villa Wisteria last week. Thought it was good value for the money paid/time of year etc. Everything was in the villa as described, villa was clean, and towels and bed linen changed mid stay as promised. Previous reviews state that there is no need to hire a car, I disagree, the villa is located right at the bottom of a very steep hill -not mentioned in the description- and without a car we would not have been able to get to the nearby very large and well stocked supermarket. Anyone with limited mobility or of advancing years would not have been able to make it up to the strip, also with a car you can drive over to Polis, very worth while and a pretty ride too. When at the villa our locat contact/manage Robin provided us with excellent back up and info on places to visit etc, In the description of the villa it is claimed that it overlooks the med, well the med is certainly there!! but you cannot see it now that the trees are fully grown, so, any thought you may have, as I did of sitting on the pation with a G&T looking at the sparkling sea, you can forget because the sea is not visible. Other than updating the description/location/views etc this is a fine villa, booking process etc first class as was the back up whilst there. Would we return ? yes difinately, but hire a car through the booking agents and collect it at the airport and save 70 euros on taxi fares to and from the airport, the drive from there is easy.

This property met all our expectations and was very well equipped. Even the small issue of a non-functioning iron was remedied immediately by your very helpful representative. Pool superb, lovely garden area, pleasant shaded areas for sitting out, great views - all in all, a fine place for relaxing. Cafes, restaurants and bus connections to nearby Paphos etc. are just a ten minute walk away. The U.K. booking agent was also extremely helpful when we had to postpone our trip earlier in the year.

The local rep was extremely pleasant and very helpful regarding a couple of minor problems with one of the showers and the safe that was inoperative when we arrived, the only real disappointments then that we considered unnecessary simply because they could be so easily rectified were
having to change the scart from cable box to DVD player every time we wanted to watch a movie
the DVD remote not working even with new batteries which means a lot of films wont bypass the language selec tion screen and therefore will not play
the complete lack of any decent English TV stations
no "frying pan" available for cooking breakfasts
the bright white towels that my wife and daughter were unable to use because of the possibility that make-up or sun-tan lotion may ruin them
apart from those few minor items we all very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Wisteria and would certainly book it again anytime

I brought my family here for a wedding in October and they thoroughy enjoyed the villa. being close to the Ascos and Aquasol Hotels, and the main street of Coral bay, they wanted for nothing. The villa is nicely furnished and the pool area is private from the neighbouring houses and the lane in which the houses are situated. Would recommend to anyone looking for a holiday in a lovely area without the need for a car. Thanks again.

We have been living in Australia for 11 years and have recently moved to Singapore so have in that time travelled extensively and visted many places, and I genuinely can say our stay at Coral Villa has been one we will all remember. This has been the most RELAXING holiday we have had- the location of our villa has ensured that, what a great spot, so quiet, away from the hustle and bustle but still close to all amenities. The villa is ideal, modern with everything that visitors would need and the Pool!!! Fantastic-kids didnt want to get out! I would most definitely recommend Coral Villa to families looking for a wonderful holiday- Many thanks.

We have had a fantastic time at Villa Coral. From booking and for the duration of our holiday, everything has ran smoothly. The villa was extremely comfortable and as described on the website. Steven responded promptly to my emails in relation to the booking and I was impressed by the way he conducted his business. The directions to the villa were easy to follow and Lisa met us as promised. The villa was very well equipped with everything we could need. I would definitely book with mycypruslets again. Kind Regards Emma, Daniel, Isabel and Evie.

''The villa was perfect it had every thing you needed, the pool was great. Exactly as it was on the internet! The location was great, walking distance to the restaurants/bar shops even the bus stop. The view when sitting outside was that you are not overlooked it was quiet and a lovely view to the hillside andwas very peaceful. We would recommend The Trattoria LA VIGNA great food and very welcoming also The Coral King restaurant which served great food and also very welcoming, and Cypriot entertainment.
The local Phillipos supermarket sold everything you require and delivered your shopping and ourselves back to the villa for free!!
The communication from yourselves was very good 10 out of 10 Highly recommended. Robin the local manager was very helpful. we are coming back to Cyprus next year. I would like to say a big thank you to Andreas who collected us from the airport and started our holiday off with his Cypriot hospitality, he made us very welcome into your country. Thank you again for a most relaxing holiday. Clive Winslade & Family''

We arrived back from Cyprus early Sunday morning having had a wonderful time. The villa was perfect. Very cleaned and well maintained and kitted out with everything you could ask for. The location was good. Although it is close to a busy area, you wouldnt know it. It was conveniently located for the supermarket and if you want the busy bars it was very near to these. We didnt want the busy bars, but just a short distance away we got the more traditional restaurants. The restaurants we found were out of the way. We went to one called Bunch of Grapes which was on the way to Limassol which was lovely. The last castle down by the beach (although high up) we found was unusual and a very good price. The local representative was Angela and she was fabulous. Cannot fault anything about her, she was very helpful to us. We may visit Cyprus again in the next 2 years and would definitely book that villa again.

"This was our second time of renting Wisteria villa and again was perfect, very clean and had everything that was required. This villa is set in a good location, although we rented a car this is not needed as the villa is only a short walk from the strip the area has a very regular bus service into Pafos. Although we have visited Pafos over many years we always find somewhere different to visit, this time we went to Agios Georgios a visit to the little church is worth a look in and a stop off in the adjacent restaurant / bar is a good viewing place, we also went to the sea caves and along a little further to the shipwreck. We would also recommend Orthellos restaurant in coral bay strip whos staff are always welcoming and Phidias Tavern is another good place to eat. All the services provided by yourselves were excellent. We were extremely satisfied with all. We could not fault the property or the services provided. Many thanks again Steven for all your help in making our holiday enjoyable again this year, could you pass on our grateful thanks again to Angela and many thanks for the return of our deposit. Regards, Michael and Nicola Sutton

"Exactly as stated in the advert – quiet location yet only about 10 minutes to shops and restaurants. Visited several restaurants and enjoyed Trattoria La Vigna, Seriani, Andria and Wabi Sabi. We were satisfied with your service and that of the local managers. Could you pass on our thanks to Andy Taxi – the local information provided and the assistance when we had to visit the hospital after one of our party was injured in the swimming pool was excellent as well as the help and interest shown by Angela.
