Aphrodite Hills is proud to announce that its 18 hole golf course has had a major investment over the past year and has undergone an upgrade including reconstruction of greens and bunkers. This has now been recognised by the PGA association which has bestowed its highest honour and included Aphrodite Hills Golf Course as the PGA National Cyprus. Aphrodite Hills has also been awarded the European Golf Resort of 2018.
Aphrodite Hills Resort opened in spring 2005. It is built within a protected forestry area enjoying olive and carob trees and dramatic views over the ravines and towards the sea. It has an active but subdued entertainment program full details are available on their website or in the Information centre located on site.
Aphrodite Hills lies on the South West Coast of Cyprus, 15km East of Paphos. The area is steeped in history and the 5* development and PGA National lies alongside Aphrodites Rock. Aphrodite Hills is THE premier leisure resort in Cyprus and has been used by the British Olympic team for training and acclimatisation and many Celebrity Golf and Tennis matches.
The Resort includes The PGA National Cyprus 18 hole Golf Course, a Tennis Academy, Thomson Sensatori 5* hotel, full Health Spa, Football Academy, Horse Riding, Restaurants, Bars, Shops, a well stocked Supermarket, Costa Coffee, Hagen Das Cafe as well as the Golf Clubhouse.
Paphos is a delightful town and well worth a leisurely visit. 2017 Paphos was the European City of Culture. The island mixes the charm of Greece with local tavernas and small charming villages with a touch of British influence: driving on the left, signposts in English and even M&S and Debenhams stores.
Paphos is served by many airlines and is a four and a half hour flight from the UK. The landscape is very dramatic on Cyprus, enjoying citrus and olive groves on the lower land and then as you climb higher towards the Troodos it becomes fields of vineyards and Pine forests. Greek is the main language however English is widely spoken.
There is a new free motorway which connects the South West of the Island directly with the South East at Agia Napa and provides quick and painless access to the whole of the South Coast including the towns of Paphos, Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca.
This region enjoys 330 days of sunshine per year with Winter temperatures rarely below 16 degrees and Summer temperatures mostly in the 30's.
This ex Show Home was completed in December 2006 and is furnished to a high standard. The villa is owned by a British family and Managed by a British Lady who lives just off Aphrodite Hills.
In the past two years we have made some improvements within the villa including: new Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Shower Cubicle, HDTV and an upgraded IPTV system, Leather Three Seater Sofa with chair and new Pool Liner with LED light.
The Villa includes Free WIFI, IPTV, HDTV, Bluetooth Soundbar, DVD player, Playstation2, IPOD Dock, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, radiators as well as a fully fitted kitchen with large water cooler.
This two double bedroom villa overlooks the first fairway of Aphrodite Hills PGA National Cyprus Golf Club. The lower double bedroom has aircon, ceiling fan, a radiator and flat screen TV/DVD (plays DVD's only, does not receive TV signal). There is an adjacent shower room and the bedroom has direct access to the patio and pool area.
The upper Kingsize bedroom has aircon,ceiling fan, a radiator, flat screen TV/DVD (plays DVD's only, does not receive TV signal), an en suite bathroom and direct access to the upper patio which enjoys stunning South Westerly views of the mountains, golf course and the sea.
The open plan kitchen provides all the necessary high quality appliances. The dining area and lounge seat four in comfort. The whole villa has air conditioning. As the villa has been used as a permanent home ceiling fans, radiators and heated towel rails are installed to ensure all year round enjoyment and comfort.
Good quality Bedding, towels and beach towels are supplied.
A "Z" Bed is available for the 5th guest: this can fit upstairs or in the lounge.
There is a kidney shape solar heated pool and beautiful garden area with enough sun-loungers and outdoor furniture to seat four. Unfortunately the villa is not equipped for wheelchair use as there are numerous steps within the property.
Fire extinguishers and fire blanket are provided for your safety.
Both front and rear gardens are beautifully landscaped. The rear lower patio has a table, 4 chairs and 2 loungers overlooking the private solar heated pool, private garden and the PGA Golf Course. The upper patio has a table, 3 chairs, 2 sun loungers a parasol and enjoys glorious views of the PGA Golf Course, mountains and the sea. The rear of the villa faces South West giving sun all afternoon and enjoying stunning sunsets over the sea. The front garden enjoys the morning sunshine where an early cup of coffee is a great way to start the day. A gas BBQ is provided.
The villa has private parking and is a 3 minute level walk to all Resort facilities.
The owners provide garden maintenance and pool cleaning. The pool is cleaned twice a week all year round.
The villa is cleaned at the start and end of your stay. If you are staying for 10 days or more there will be a Mid-stay clean included in your price.

Check-Out anytime at no extra charge on your last day. This makes it easier for you especially if you have children or late flights.

You have everything you could need for a holiday on the resort, however if you would like to venture further afield there is a local, reliable and cheap bus service which departs throughout the day from Aphrodite Hills to Paphos. Taxis are available from Paphos Airport: Journey time is around 15 minutes, costing 45Euro per sector. Taxis from Larnaca Airport : Journey time is around 1hr 20mins costing over 100Euro per sector.
Hire car is preferable but not essential. Check to see if car hire would work out more cost effective than a taxi service both ways from the airport. Winter prices range from a weeks car hire for 30Euros upto Summer prices around 120Euros. Prices vary widely, please check comparison websites for your best deal. I would suggest you pre book a Hire car, most companies are represented at the airport: Hertz, Easycar, Alamo, Sixt, Autoeurope and Leoscy plus more local companies.
