Cozy hideaway is now serving as a holiday villa and our family getaway when things get tough. Let your mind and spirit revitalize and soak local sound

This cottage style villa offers a pure setting to relax. Immerse yourself in local sounds and scents to sail away from the hectic daily routine.

Whether you want a quiet family getaway or an active holiday with group of friends, this is a perfect place to spend a week or two, even a whole season!

Would you like to take a step back into history? Can you imagine how the sailors stayed in touch with their loved ones as long hours went by in faraway seas? Olive trees on this island can whisper you the secrets of life in the old days...

Villa Bracera Story
This villa is a family heritage built traditionally from local quarries stone. Not long ago it was owned by my father - a maritime captain who has sailed the seas like many other from the island. It is now serving as a holiday villa and our family getaway when things get tough. Let your mind and spirit revitalize and soak local sounds, sights and aromas.

About the place
Supetar is the largest place on one of the most beautiful islands of the Adriatic pearls. It's fishermen's charm and long sailing tradition give you an excellent insight to local culture.

In our busy lives today we forget how it is to stop for a moment and think about ourselves. We can't even imagine that there is a place where life is still, quiet and full of sights and sounds we don't even know about. Visit our island to spend a great time that you will always remember. Every season has its own colors and flavours to suit different holiday cravings. It still looks unspoilt like many, many years back....

Excellent villa, great location, highly recommended!

A nice appartment in the heart of Supertar. Near to the market, the harbour and restaurants but nevertheless in a quiet position.

Ideal for one family. More families will have to face the fact that there is only one bathroom.

Very nice (roofed) terrace, spacious living room and kitchen. Roofed open fire (BBQ) place.

Near to the beach in the city, but that is rather close to the ferry. Attractive beaches can be reached by car or by bicycle. Taking a bike there(or renting one) is a good idea.

Very nice owners.

Olivier

Nice property close to the beaches and to Supetar center
Located in a quiet area.

Croatia came highly recommened to us and I can honestly say that we were not dis-appointed, infact it far surpassed our expectations.Villa Bracera on the island of Brac is quietly situated with Lemon tree's, grape vines and beautiful flowering climbers all adding to the peaceful and tranqual setting, making it an ideal place to relax and un-wind.Whilst beaches, local shops, markets, bus and ferry terminals are only a short walk away. The beautiful coastlines and surroundin sights are breathtaking, the beauty of which cannot be fully captured on camera, they just have to be seen.It was our first trip to Croatia and I can confidently forecast that it will not be our last.

The great location of Villa Bracera just a short walk from Supetar port and town centre with its palm tree lined promenade, street cafes and small shops made an ideal base from with to explore many of the characteristic and peaceful Mediterranean coastal villages on the Island of Brac. Regular bus connections between all the villages of the island made picking up a boat from Bol possible and opened up opportunities to ‘island-hop’ and visit neighbouring islands such vibrant Hvar and serene Palmizana. The close proximity of Split, with its Roman past and imposing Dioceletian Palace, was just a short ferry journey away on the mainland and made travelling along the striking Dalmatian coast to places such as Markaska and Dubrovnik effortless and uncomplicated. I would, and indeed have, highly recommended this ruggedly beautiful Mediterranean country to my friends and family. Whether you are interested in swimming, sailing, scuba diving, shopping, sunbathing, island-hopping or exploring the nation's fascinating culture and heritage, Croatia and Villa Bracera is a fantastic place to spend a holiday. We are a couple with 3 children and this house has been in the family for the past 40 years. We have been renting it since 2008 and so far it's been a great experience. We lived in Croatia and also 13 years in the Middle East, Dubai and love meeting new people from different parts of Globe. We are excited to see our guests enjoying the house and our island as their own. That feels great as we know we have created a cozy place for many holidaymakers who are looking for an authentic Croatian experience and off the typical tourist resorts. Some of our guests are now dear friends. We have many interests, love travelling and there are many topics we can chat about apart giving you great tips which places to see on the island.
