Varna is the second largest city in Bulgaria and there is everything one would expect to find in such a Metropolis. From the ancient cathedral, museum and theatre area with the designer shops (without the designer prices), to the bustling markets and stalls, to the peaceful Primorski park which stretches almost the entire length of the Cities coastline (including an observatory Dolphinarium childrens play park and museums).
The quiant Hamlet of Balchik is approximately a 30 minute drive set in a picturesque harbour containing boats and yachts of all descriptions. The promenade contains a host of eateries serving excellent food for you to enjoy in this relaxing environment. After dining you can take a stroll around the shops or along the newly developed coastal walkway to Albena.
General Kantardjievo is a typical Bulgarian village close to the Northern Black Sea coast. Rush hour in General Kantardjievo consists of the shepherd collecting the goats and sheep in the morning and taking them to graze on the land surrounding the village until its time to return in the evening.There are two shops in the village which supply general groceries and local delicassies. The panoramic view from the top of the village is well worth a look!.
Kranevo is the nearest beach resort to the villa. The town is a thriving summer destination, where you will find a variety of bars and restaurants to choose from, all at very reasonable prices. There are also a couple of large supermarkets which sell some English branded foods, and provisions as well as alcohol.
Albena and Golden Sands have even more to offer and are only a short drive away. These are packed with plenty of restaurants and other nightlife entertainment including a Casino. The beaches which are sandy - golden and clean are amongst the best in Europe. On the coast many boat trips and watersports are available. In Golden Sands you can visit the Aquapolis Waterpark, where you will find enough to occupy the most active members of your family.
Head towards Varna to find Vinitsa Go Kart/Paintball/Buggy centre. Easy to find as its on the main road to Varna and well worth a visit.
On the way to Balchik there are three new luxurious "Links" golf courses with stunning views over the Black Sea which are only a 20 minute drive from the villa:

Lighthouse Golf Resort - An Ian Woosnam course
Thracian Cliffs - A Gary Player course
The route to the villa from Varna Airport bypassing the city could not be easier to follow - full directions will be provided on booking.
The owners are willing to arrange car rental on your behalf with a trusted company who will meet you at the Airport with your selected vehicle.
2012 flights to Varna are available from Gatwick- Luton-Manchester-Glasgow-Edinburgh and Newcastle.
Flights to Bulgaria are not cheap, but do not be deterred as the savings on food and drink will easily make up the
difference when compared to other European holiday destinations - Bulgaria is the jewel of the Black Sea - see it for yourself!.

There is several things that are making not good impression. No protection sets on windows against insects, we were forced to do it by ourselves. Otherwise is not possible to open window. Extremely hot no air-condition available (should be consider by owners). There were available only 2 ventilators, we buy and left additional 2 to have in all rooms (including lounge area). Finally management of villa was poor, after 5 days there were pool problem with a filters. A lot of sand was felt into the pool. We had promised by manager of villa for cleaning out of pool, but nobody has appear, without any notice about it.
In general property is good in very nice and quiet area. Owners should think about some improvements into house as I mention above and especially they need to improve management of villa and pool.
On the whole we found the property lived up to expectations, some areas could be improved such as child safety in the pool area and steps to the pool, and the bathroom shower did not drain very well at times, apart from these details we had a very pleasant stay at Gleem Villa and enjoyed the Beaches at Kranevo and would gladly return to the area and Gleem Villa
The villa was really nice,clean and tidy in a perfect quiet location.The swimming pool and the garden were lovely.The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for a week self catering. I would recommend it to anyone.The only problem is that theres no air conditioning and it was 30 at night in August.
The villa is very nice, fully equipped and well maintained. The pool is always perfectly clean as the landlord- Vasco (great guy, by the way) cleans it every day. The village is very peacefull and quiet, just perfect for summer chillout in very private atmosphere :) as there are no direct neighbours. The beach is about 4km away and is very clean and nice. Ask Vasco where to go, as he knows the beach in kranevo which is just the best as it is not overcrouded and has a great restaurant which offers nice food for great value. All in all i would really recomend this place to anybody and hope to come there again as we had really great holidays. One more thing is the local vinery. 5L box of nice vine costs only 22 lv :)
