Overview

The Mountain Dream complex is a luxury development of traditional architectural style built to a high standard located at the highest elevation of dvelopment within Bansko. The complex includes an on-site hotel with restaurant facilities and bar, an exercise and spa complex and a swimming pool. The apartment is a 5 minute walk to the ski station and a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Internet facilities are available in the internet cafe a small additional weekly charge. There is secure parking and 24 hour concierge service. Additional cleaning can be arranged at a moderate extra cost. A holiday here combines the independence of self-catering backed by hotel facilities, if required. We have endeavoured to set up the apartment to provide everything that is required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The Apartment
The apartment is very spacious, furnished to a high standard and fully equipped, including cable TV and DVD player. The master bedroom has a double bed with en-suite bathroom and opens onto an east facing balcony. The second bedroom has twin beds and also opens onto the east facing balcony. The second bathroom has a shower.
The lounge/dining area/ kitchen are open plan. The lounge has a 3-seater sofa that converts to a double bed, 2-seater settee, telephone for internal communication that can also be used for outside calls and internet access for an additional charge, paid directly to the concierge.
The dining area has a table and 6 chairs and opens onto a second balcony, west facing.
The kitchen is fully equipped including oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.
There is a cupboard in the entrance hall and ample room for luggage, coats, ski boots etc.
The apartment has is electric heating to all rooms and in addition, there is a log fireplace in the lounge.

Bansko Town
Bansko town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has narrow cobbled streets with stone houses, 120 cultural monuments, museums and permanent ethnographic exhibitions. In the centre is The Holy Trinity church with its 30 m high bell tower and clock, splendid murals and woodcarvings.
In summer hiking, climbing and horse riding are popular. There are well signed routes and hikers chalets. Mountain bikes can be hired in order to explore this beautiful region. Local companies can organise trips in the mountains e.g. white water rafting, canoeing, paragliding. Also in summer the town hosts a week long jazz festival and other events.
For après ski the traditional Bansko tavern ("Mehana"), with their exceptional charm and style offer local atmosphere with their cuisine and good selection of Bulgarian wines. Most of the local "Mehanas" even offer live folk music. A visit or two to these is a must! Discos and night clubs work without time limit, and usually close early in the morning.
As the cost of living is very cheap in Bulgaria, your money will go several times further here than in skiing resorts in other parts of Europe.
Bansko is the newest and the most rapidly developing ski resorts in Bulgaria. 40 million Euros have been invested, to create a top rate facility with the best equipment, including a new gondola, snow guns, electronic ski pass system etc. There are 14 pistes totalling 65km, including a 16 km run plus cross country and excellent off piste skiing. Bansko is popular with snowboarders facilities include a half pipe. There is a top class ski school for all levels of ability. The ski season is one of the longest roughly mid December until the end of April.The Ski area is excellent for beginners and intermediates. For snowboarders and the more advanced skiers there is challenging off piste.
