Day 1 - Have a relaxing day down on the beach below the city

Day 2 - Buy some fresh, local produce at the Dubrovnik farmer's market

Take a morning walk to Gruz market and buy some fresh fish, shrimps, squid or an octopus to cook back at your apartment or villa!

Day 3 - Take a stroll along the old city walls

Day 4 - Take a boat to Lokrum Island Nature Reserve

It takes about 15 minutes to get there by the taxi-boats that run from the old harbour every half hour from 9am to 7pm daily. The price of 35 HRK/6.30€ includes entrance to the island.

Day 5 - Take in Dubrovnik's history at Fort Lovrijenac

This 11th century fortress has amazing panoramic views of the city...

Day 6 - Hire a boat and spend the day sunbathing and jumping into Dubrovnik's refreshing turquoise sea

Day 7 - Join a Game of Thrones tour of Dubrovnik old town

You might remember Minčeta Tower as the exterior of the House of Undying in the town of Qarth. It is the place where Daenerys Targaryen walks around trying to find the entrance, looking for her stolen dragons in season two!

Day 8 - Visit Mljet island to go snorkelling or cliff-jumping

There are is a wealth of marine life in the clear waters surrounding the island. If swimming is not your thing, then you can take a walk through the vineyards and pine forests.

Day 9 - Ride the cable car to catch the best views of Dubrovnik

Day 10 - Have a wander around Dubrovnik old town and admire the beauty of its ancient architecture

Day 11 - Hire kayaks and go paddling around the coastline

Day 12 - Explore the old town and enter through the Pile Gate 

Inside the Pile Gate costumed musicians perform and locals demonstrate their craft skills and sell their wares - the perfect place to pick up souvenirs!

Day 13 - Visit the monastery on Lopud island and relax on its quiet and sandy beaches
