Sunrise Beach, Koh Lipe
With 2 kilometres of white sandy beach front, Sunrise Beach runs along the west coast of Koh Lipe and can be less crowded and touristy than other beaches in Thailand. The sea is perfectly clear and so the beach is ideal for snorkelling with plenty of colourful coral and marine life. The name of the beach is a giveaway but head here for amazing sunsets and even better sunrises!
Railay Beach, Krabi
Surrounded by limestone rocks and surreal landscapes, this clean white sandy beach is situated on a small peninsula between Krabi and Ao Nang and is only accessible by boat. Due to its picturesque beauty, the beach can be a little busy at times but there’s plenty of space and enough food and drinks stalls to keep you cool and hydrated in the heat of the sunshine. Thong Nai Pan, Koh Phangan
Off the beaten track, Thong Nai Pan is a quieter beach as it can take a little longer to get to but once you’re there it can sometimes feel like you have the whole place to yourself! With pure white sands and clear blue warm water, this hippie style beach is idyllically relaxing. Make the most of your stay and spend a few nights in a beach bungalow taking in the surroundings.
Long Beach, Koh Lanta
The most popular of Koh Lantas beaches, Long Beach has a 4 kilometer sandy stretch and ideal swimming conditions for families. Phi Phi Don, Koh Phi Phi
Take a speed boat to Phi Phi Don and you’ll be overwhelmed by the beauty and your surroundings. Famous for dreamy beaches, friendly people and stunning views…spend a few days on the island and take trips to Maya Bay and Monkey Island from here. At night the beach is lively with bars and fire dancers along with restaurants offering delicious seafood choices.
Tanote Bay, Koh Tao
Koh Tao, also known as Turtle Island is still relatively underdeveloped but popular with backpackers and travellers. It’s a pretty island, great for snorkelling and surrounded by long boats. Tanote Bay is a little difficult to get to and involves a steep decline down a narrow dirt road but it’s all worth it when you get to the beautiful bay!
Patong Beach, Phuket
