Lovely villa with a pool. Could do with a little maintenance and tlc but perfectly fine for a self catering holiday. Easy access to supermarket and local bars, very little noise other than local dogs barking from time to time.
A very good location and property. Our only negative comment would be that it is very much in need of immediate refurbishment.
Janice who manages is the property locally is very pleasant and helpful. Whilst the property is in a great location, close to ammenties and local beach (Welches Beach, which was our favourite on the whole Island), it was in need of some updating, however it was clean, and supplied everything you would need for a modern family, dishwasher, brand new top loader washing machine, brand new TV, wifi, cooker with oven, microwave. The pool was excellent, thoroughly enjoyed by all. There's also a phone in the villa to communicate with Janice if required, and weekly clean. Janice was very helpful when we wanted to hire a vehicle. The local dogs sometimes woke us at night barking, but not something the owner can do about that. We enjoyed our stay in Barbados, and the villa certainly never detracted us from that.
This is the second time me and my family have stayed at fairholme gardens. We did enjoy our stay here as it is close to all amenities and having children the pool is a must. Although this time we did feel neglected by the house mngr, whether it was because we had stayed before but there wasn't that personal touch and 'can I do anything for you ' as before. We also had to go out and buy cleaning supplies as the house needed a good deep clean. There is a lady who comes in once a week to clean and change beds etc and she does a good job but the house itself needs a lot of general maintenance and updating. Overall I would recommend fairholme gardens as it is good value for money and with a little tlc it could be a fabulous property.
Just as described absolutely stunning property Janice was on hand whenever needed and made us feel very welcomed from the moment we arrived. I stayed in both properties with daughters son in laws and grandchildren and will definitely be returning next year
