Cottage overview - owner's description

The idyllic town of Hippach sits at the heart of the Zillertal, quite possibly the most active valley in all of Tyrol. Surrounded by the Zillertal, Tux and Kitzbühel Alps, Hippach and the towns of Ramsau and Schwendau make a first-rate holiday destination in any season.
The brand new holiday house (cottage from wood) is situated in a quiet setting on the Schwendberg about 5 km above Hippach and is lovingly furnished in a cosy design with lots of wood and a rustic ambience. You have a wonderful view of the entire valley of the Zillertal from the open-plan kitchen and from the 4 bedrooms (2 bathrooms).
The ski bus will take you directly from the holiday house (it stops 10 metres away) to the nearby Horbergbahn cable line, the best way to reach the Mayrhofen ski area. For skiing and snowboarding you have access to 159 kilometres of ski runs and 51 ski lifts.

The cottage is literally built against the mountain. If you walk down the stairs, the left wall is simply mountain, super cool. This cottage really gives you an Austrian mountain feeling. The living room is not spacious but we were skiing all day long and then it is enough for 8 people in the evening for a few hours. The view is really nice you are halfway up the mountain with the fantastic view. Some beds creak and some mattresses are not super but generally everyone has slept well. The wood-fired stove ensures that the living room / kitchen is warm enough cold you will not get it. Pay attention If you are on the road with snowfall, you will have to lay down snow chains. Ski bus literally stops in front of the door so the car to the gondola is not necessary. However, the ski bus stops at the last part of the descent of the red 10. So you start with skiing then it is advisable to go down by car and grab the gondola. 2 bends to go is Gasthof Berghof where you can eat well. There is a ski school and ski rental downstairs in the village, so driving to Mayrhofen is not necessary. All praise for the hostess what a nice person and helpful! If you look at the price quality, I find this house a bit too expensive. But you're in the Mayrhofen ski area and cheaper than in Mayrhofen itself.

Had a wonderful holiday. Comfortable house with a beautiful view. The living room on the tight side for 9 people. The ground floor with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms very spacious and tidy. Very warm reception by the hostess Christiane. The only downside to the house is that it is quite high on the mountain and the ski bus to the village only once a day and once a day back.

Because one of us got sick right before the holidays, we arrived a day later. Arrange this with the owner was all no problem, she was extremely nice! The apartment is super clean, the kitchen and living room very cozy and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. The only minus is that there is no rim at one of the two showers, making the bathroom wet quickly wordt.Het apartment has stunning views over the valley and a large balcony in the sun, here we also enjoyed. Also it is very nice that the stove every day for you lit wordt.Al in all there are hardly any mention negatives and lots of positives! Highly recommended!

Great location, very nice landlord, beautiful Hütte.Der way to the hut is a little steep downward and the main room is missing the rumlümmeln something comfortable. Otherwise, all the best, happy again

Very friendly welcome by Christiane, the owner who gave us a quick tour and explanation about the house, surroundings and ski bus service. Everything was neat and clean. Kitchen has everything needed to cook and bake well. Living room / kitchen has a separate seating area, the only seating area is the dining table and benches which are therefore arranged it, banks have a cushion. This is a group quite cozy. Wood stove provides a warm to very warm living room / kitchen and is easy to arrange. Every day by Christiane for return slopes lit so that you come home to a warm place. House sits high on a mountain road with a great view over the valley, walking to town is a bit tricky, sk ibus stops at the door. Hippach, Zell am Ziller and Mayrhofen with the car very easy to reach. Christiane offers fee a very good bread and rolls service delivery is early in the morning. Overall highly recommended for a group that is going on ski holidays, and can appreciate a somewhat secluded accommodation.

Cozy house with stunning views. Large sunny balcony and flowing mountain stream make it a restful place. Ski buses down Horbergbahn and up to slopes are very nice. Christiane, the owner is a very opgwekte and hospitable woman. Every day already after skiing was the wood stove. The house is fully equipped. Daily bread service is also practical. A nice bench would have been nice for Grandma 's but we have solved this problem by putting the balcony chair in the living room.

A spacious house for nine people with a cozy living room. All cooking facilities including coffee machine with fresh beans. Connection by bus to ski area is fine and the car to Hintertux Zillertal Arena and is highly recommended. After a day of skiing in a house to where the stove is already on makes it a real holiday, thanks to Christiane owner who was very flexible with arrival and departure from us.

Had top ski week. The house is a small 20min drive from the gondola. Close to a stop step. A great view of the valley Spacious rooms and a cozy living room. After returning the stove stood every day again for us, so it was nice and warm inside.

dejlig omr og skønt vejr

Very friendly landlord, but the dishes are totally culled and the heating is done by a furnace which is the living room to impress. The lower hallway and a room below are thus only moderately warm. The connection to the ski area is carried out by a bus that never was full, so that was also with smaller children ride no problem. But you have to deal with a few meters of a red track what our smallest child caused difficulties alone at the terminus. Unbuckle Either ski and a few meters down the slope walk or drive down. Vorteilist that you do not have to join the crush of the gondola.

Great house, shame about the wood stove in living room that you "the morning first must get!
