Myself, my husband and our youngest adult son have just returned from a really wonderful week at Casa Gustavo, which is in a very peaceful and quiet location. The apartment is simply beautiful, we were so surprised as it is a very large. It is a light and bright apartment, and is extremely clean throughout. The apartment is stocked with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. 

The longe and dinning room is extremely large, there are 3 very comfortable large sofas, one of which my husband noticed is a sofa bed. So the apartment would easily accommodate 6 people comfortably. There is also a large six seater dinning table and chairs near to the kitchen. 

The bedrooms are very spacious, both with their own enclosed en-suites, all the beds were very comfortable with lovely bed linen, and we all slept really well. The air conditioning worked so well and was a complete must for July, particularly as the weather was hot, even for this time of the year. 

The outside terrace is extremely large with a lovely patio dinning set and loungers, in order to relax and have drinks in the evenings etc. Although we didn’t find the need to use the BBQ, there is a lovely one on the terrace for guests to use. There is a covered patio area to eat meals, but there are also garden blinds and awnings that you are able to use and extend if shade is needed on the larger patio areas too. The view from the terrace is simply beautiful and very relaxing. We loved to start our day with breakfast outside, the scenery and weather was so lovely. 

The pool and lawn areas are a very short walk (2 minutes) from the apartment, they have plenty of sun loungers and chairs for guests to enjoy. The pool is large with plenty of room for guest to swim. There are covered areas and parasols on-site if you need a little shade after your swim, we visited the pool at several different times of the day and it was not busy at all, and we were always able to find somewhere nice to sit and relax. The pool area is very pretty as are the surrounding grounds, which are kept immaculate. Other guests were very quiet and respectful when entering our apartment building, as well as guests coming and going in the surrounding apartments, and no noise could be heard from other guests. 

There are lots of lovely bars, cafes &amp; restaurants and a great selection of supermarkets just a short drive away (5 minutes), the supermarkets have a great range of items i.e. lovely fruits, salads, cold meats, cheese and breads for you to buy &amp; enjoy. They also stock a great selection of really decent wines, which are considerably cheaper than in the Uk. We also had some really nice meals at the local restaurants, (i.e. steak house and seafood restaurants etc.) and staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming. 

On a separate note - We travelled as a family of 7, our eldest son, D-in-Law &amp; 2 young grandchildren rented their own apartment for our holiday together a short drive away, but unfortunately they had the most awful first night in their apartment as the air conditioning units didn’t work. This meant that they had a really uncomfortable distressing night, with two very upset and distressed children. Understandably they were all exhausted the next morning. 

We decided to ring Joanne who is the guardian for David’s apartment, we hoped that Jo would be able to give us some advice. Jo was so helpful in recommending an alternative company, our son contacted them and they were able to find an alternative apartment straight away which was beautiful, and our family were able to move in that afternoon, which was such a relief for them. Joanne was invaluable and we can’t thank her enough for her support. 

Communication with David was a very positive one, and he couldn’t have been more helpful, responding to our enquiries straight away, and providing advice etc. 

We absolutely loved our stay at David’s apartment and we wouldn’t hesitate to return and or recommend Casa Gustavo to family, friends and other guests looking to book a beautiful apartment. Like all the reviews listed you would not be disappointed with Casa Gustavo.

The 2 of us stayed at Casa Gustavo &amp; was all that is described, a very spacious well fitted apartment that has an enormous outside terrace that looks out onto green panoramic views of Las De Campoamor golf course.The position of apartment is 2 minute drive to La Fuente a small town that has all you need Mercadona ,Aldi's , Pharmacia ,restaurants bars that have entertainment every night. Villamartin Plaza 5 minute drive. May i suggest La Finca previously called Quesada fish &amp; chips at Villamartin now moved to Lomas Don Juan 5 mins away Near El Portalon restaurant it has pool in and outside restaurant with a varied menu &amp; fish &amp; chips to die for. The well equipped apartment has A/C which in June and later you will need it was in the high 90s when we stayed for 3 weeks from May till June. Beds superb so new and linen was of fab quality. I cooked half a dozen times and we dined on terrace succulent assortment of Spanish black pudding, chorizo, pork sausages and chicken wings &amp; great fresh salad. Washed down with amazingly cheap Rioja red &amp; Rose wines. Joanna the local apartment rep was a joy and at hand to help with any probs which you will not find thankyou Joanna. Pool was 1 minute walk away key operated gate &amp; was always available for sun beds and Parasols . I would return in a minute you will be so amazed at the luxurious apartment you will not need anything home from home . Wi Fi ,Brit TV .5 Star apartment we thankyou for a wonderful stay at your Casa David.

Just got back home from another wonderful 56days in Casa Gustavo what can I say that I haven’t said before, the apartment is everything you need for a wonderful stay the area is so full of shops bars and just amazing, beaches close by and also great. David the owner once again came up trumps as when we arrived there was no BBQ and this is important to us as we stay so long, one phone call and we were told to buy one of our choice and straight away David reimbursed us what more could you ask. Also jo was very helpful only a phone call away with any problems. Love this place and can’t wait to return again. Thank you David.

Every thing was perfect. The house is excellent, had everything to feel as comfortable as at home. The backyard was amazing. I loved having breakfast there (usually, I wake up early)and  just listening to the birds. The supermarket was at a walking distance, and if you are a big fan of running, you'll find a nice path for running, from the exit of this urbanization to the "Las ramblas golf", along a water course,full of ducks :). I highly recommend David's house. If we weren't living uncertainty times, I would already book for next summer. Thank you David, we had a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful stay at David's apartment.  It had everything we needed as a family, and the sun was shining on the patio at the back almost all day.  The swimming pool was great also, and the apartment had everything one could possibly need. There is everything you need from supermarket's to great places to eat within a 10 minute walk or a few minutes by car.

David responded almost instantly when we messaged him and was very flexible when we booked as we had to rearrange 3 times due to covid 19 and travel restrictions.  I would 100% recommend staying here,  it's perfect for a relaxing family holiday.

We had the most wonderful stay at this property. It is beautiful. The apartment is very spacious with each bedroom having its own bathroom within its doors. This was lovely as it gave us privacy from the other occupants! The verandah is delightful - well equipped with BBQ, table and chairs plus recliners. It was a lovely place to soak ip the heat and relax. The pool is a 1 minute walk away, very well kept and during our time there never really busy.
Kitchen is well equipped- dishwasher, freezer, washing machine etc. Lots of wardrobe space in the bedrooms. It is very comfortable and has not got the holiday let feel about it at all. We could have done another week easily. It was such a relaxing place- we have come home feeling really rested. It is in a very quiet complex which we so enjoyed.
Diane was extremely helpful in directing us in to the apartment and very kindly let us drop our cases in earlier than expected, which we really appreciated.
Certainly the nicest place we have stayed in whilst holidaying in Spain.

We have stayed in this area for many years whilst holidaying in Spain. This was the first time that we have stayed in this apartment and I must say it was an amazingly comfortable stay.
The apartment was equipped with absolutely every you need, very large and spacious indeed.
Handover was easy and pleasant and cleanliness was spot on.  The beds were very comfortable and plenty of pillows.

I would happily go back here, peaceful and stunning views. We have only been back a day and already missing it terribly.

There are a couple of suggestions on improvements that I would look into but all extremely superficial and in no way reflect on my recommendation for this property, just mere observations.

1, a quick start guide to the washing machine would be helpful,  the one in the apartment was to a previous machine so it was all guess work.

2, some sort of draught excluder for the apartment main door so that when the outside door closes it doesn’t cause a vacuum and bang your door

My family and I look forward to staying here again in the future

We booked a week stay here in early July for our family. This apartment was perfect for what we needed, the apartment is very spacious and had everything to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. 

We made contact with Diane as soon as we arrived at the airport, and she made sure we had everything we needed, including doing some shopping before we arrived, and directions to the property. Not very many places provide this facility and it was brilliant to have a couple of bits in the fridge as we were arriving late, and then made sure to meet us in person the next day to make sure everything was as expected at the apartment. 

The rear terrace, with Table &amp; chairs for 6, sun loungers and BBQ was the highlight of the apartment with its views up over the golf course and landscape, it is a sun trap in the evenings too. 

It is a short walk to the bars, restaurants and shops. And less than a 10 minute drive to the beaches and shopping centre, there is plenty to do for all tastes within 10 - 15 mins from the apartment. 

We can't wait to go back to Casa Gustavo again next year. Thanks for everything Diane and David.

Just come home from 56 nights stay at Casa Gustavo, WOW this apartment was the best we have stayed at in at Spain, the view from the terrace is amazing and we spent a good part of our stay enjoying eating alfresco. The beaches in this area are lovely only 10min away the shops and restaurants are walking distance and very good. Everything in the apartment was just perfect will definitely be returning again it can’t come quick enough. And thank you Diane for all your help to Make this a wonderful holiday for us.
