About

My husband and I live 6 months in Italy and six months in Koh Samui. We work in the tourism business in Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the Dolomites Mountain. Gregorio is a ski instructor and the director of the Cristallo Cortina Ski School and Rina is a certified Yoga Teacher and works part-time in a tourist office. We travelled all over Asia, in China, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Myamar and Hong Kong but when we visited for the first time Koh Samui in 2001, we fell in love with this beautiful island and decided to buy a peace of land and build our dream house. It was the best choice we ever made and it has became our second home. While in Samui we practice Yoga, meditation and relaxation to re-charge our energy to get ready for the hard winter activities. We hope that Villa Samadhi will deliver the same sense of peace and relaxation for you. Rina and Gregorio

My partner and I stayed at Villa Samadhi for a couple of weeks at the beginning of January. We were picked up from the airport and met at the Villa by the manager who was extremely welcoming and sweet. The Villa was kept clean and we felt very much at home. The Island itself is beautiful with every activity you could imagine. The Villa owners were very helpful and organised everything for our stay. We have only good things to say about our holiday and would highly recommend both the Villa and the Island to anyone.

My wife and I have just finished a 4 week stay at this Villa, this has been our second visit and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. The Villa is big enough for a family of four adults and room for children with two bathrooms en suit utility room with washer and a fully fitted kitchen. The best part is the very large veranda which allows you to dine outside and look out over the valley, my wife and I spent most nights there with a bottle of wine. The swimming pool is delightful as the sun gets so hot you can just slip into the pool to cool off. The housekeeper/manager was extremely helpful and was able to offer some good advice on where to eat and where to visit on the island her english is very good. I can highly recommend this Villa as long as you dont use the dates that I want next year.

This was our second visit to Villa Samadhi and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We love the area its so quiet with the hills around you and the wild life on your door step, the check in and check out were problem free. We received a welcoming email from the owners wishing us a happy holiday and assuring us that if there were any problems to talk to her manager on site. All the facilities were available the kitchen had every thing you needed to cook and serve meals however we were out most nights as the choice of food on Samui is very good. The swimming pool was delightful when the sun really got going you could just slide into the pool to cool down. Our only disappointment we had to leave, but we look forward to returning.

Very good property very clean and well maintained, cleaner was very helpful and efficient. Was able to give advise with regards food and the local area. we had a hire car which was useful for getting around the island. The pool at the villa was a delight nice and cool during the day and well lit of a night and quite private. Air-con in bedrooms and fans over beds were useful, veranda was our favourite place for cooling off having breakfast and lunch and looking out to the valley. Our big mistake was not staying longer.

Dear Rina and Gregorio Thanks very much. What a beautiful home you have - we are quite jealous. Just so you know, we own a second home in the US - in the skiing area of Mt. Bachelor Oregon (www.sunriver-resort.com) so we can understand how to take care of your home and what it must mean to you. Kay was great. We had a few problems with the pool but they got sorted out in the end. We rented a car for two days and a moto for the rest and had a great time exploring the island. Our favorite restaurant was at the Sunset Beach Resort and Spa on the north side (http://www.thesunsetbeachresort.com/). All in all, a brilliant stay. Grazie mille Ciao Paul

Dear Rina and Gregorio Just got back and we had a great time. The Villa provided us with a quiet and comfortable base and Kay was always keen to help. Thanks for letting us use your villa. Regards, Laurie and Jenny

We have just returned from a 6 week trip to Thailand of which 4 weeks was spent at Villa Samadhi. Thankyou Rena & Gregorio for letting us use your home, we had a fantastic holiday as always in Samui, this was our first time in the area of Bang Por which we found a little bit too quite for us, however we had the best chill out time! Found the pool area to be a bit overgrown but otherwise a lovely relaxing pool where I enjoyed laying out and listening to my Ipod, the upkeep and cleaning of the pool was of a very good standard. The one suggestion we would like to make perhaps a TV in the master bedroom would be a good idea! Regards Michael & Patricia

Dear Rina and Gregorio, Thank you so much for the use of your home in Koh Samui it was a fantastic place. We loved the garden with all the tropical plants, and the pool well it was just perfect it was probably the best holiday we have had, bearing in mind we have been all over the world, Villa Samadhi beats everywhere else hands down. We cannot praise it high enough, and feel we were very lucky to have stayed in such a wonderful place, thank you Gerard and Donna
