The cottage is in such a lovely quiet location but with excellent walks from the door. It’s cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Excellent value and great place to see red squirrels. Also went to the Ivy restaurant in Braithwaite where we had an excellent meal.

We had a lovely stay at Talcomb. The property was easy to find and very clean on our arrival. The location was good and we enjoyed the surrounding area. Lovely walks direct from the door so was easy to take our dog out for a morning/evening walk. We had a lovely evening walk (summer) from the property to The Royal Oak in Braithwaite. The only negative I have about the property is the double bedroom. The room is too small for a double bed and the bed is very creaky which kept us awake at night. As a family with teenagers we felt this room would benefit with a bunk bed and the adults stay in the much larger twin room. The lounge and kitchen were a good size and equipped with everything you could need. Thank you for a easy check in and out service and we would definitely return to the property as a couple.

Villa is a credit to the owners. Lovely clean and accommodates a large family really well. In a lovely well kept area with plenty of shops local. Had a issue with the pool not filling. Got InTouch with the owner and it was sorted the next day. I intend to go back to America as long as this villa is available I won't look anywhere else. Thanks for helping me build memories for a fantastic holiday:)

The first thing was the key code we where given was incorrect which at night when we arrived was a nightmare. The villa was huge really well located everything we needed it's a little tired and the bedding and towels definitely needs replacing, we had the pool heated ad we stayed in January and it was lovely, overall yes I'd reccomend this villa ,it wouldn't take much at all to just replace a few of the tired things ,the villa management team Mike and his family where fantastic really helpful and friendly xx

Just returned from a 3 week stay at this villa, A very spacious property with good facilities lots of space lots of utilities in the kitchen and cookware. Lots of towels and spare bedding. The only downside I found to this property was the carpet in the sitting room and up stairs was very dirty a deep clean is needed. The pool was well heated and maintained. this villa is a Very nice place to stay.

We love this cottage, it is in such a lovely position for enjoying the Lake District. It's so quiet, great for a good nights sleep and yet it's so easy to get into Keswick which is around a 10 minute drive away. You can walk to Braithwaite and we had a wonderful meal in the Royal Oak, you need to book well in advance of your stay. The gallery in thornwaite is just down the road, this does good coffee and has some lovely items to buy. Walking up from the cottage brings you to whinlatter forest, its uphill all the way but worth the walk. Whinlatter is famous for its red squirrels and has some lovely walks. The coffee shop does amazing lunches and cakes. The cottage is lovely and warm and very relaxing, just what you need for a great break.

Just returned from a 3 week stay at this villa, A very spacious property with good facilities washer and dryer was brilliant lots of space lots of utilities in the kitchen and cookware. Pool was a very good size . there is two strollers In the garage which are very good for the parks if you don’t want to take your own. Lots of towels and spare bedding.The only downside I found to this property was the carpet in the sitting room and up stands was very dirty and really needs changing or a deep clean I think they would benefit from changing the carpet to tile is the same as the kitchen and dining room .And I did find four cockroaches I’m not sure if this is normal practice for a villa in Florida as this is the first villa that I have stayed in. Also there seem to be lots of tiny bugs in the kitchen area I just went down the kitchen tops every morning and that seem to get rid of them.The pool didn’t seem to be filtering on the last week of our stay so the pool was quite dirty I did call the management company and they sent someone out the next day and it was fully cleaned. Apart from those problems I think this villa is a Very nice place to stay with lots and lots of room and in a good area and a very clean and safe looking area If the carpet was changed I wouldn’t have a problem staying here again that really would be the only thing that puts me off

Great property, loads of space which is what you need! issues getting access as the details we had been given did not work. Cant let that cloud your judgment though. Nice and big central and would book again....great price. Worked well for our family and would go back in a heart beat, neighbours lovely, all in all yes I recommend this property so please book and you wont be disappointed
